Kioloa Weekend

Last weekend I organized a field trip to the coast for ANUgreen staff and our visiting interns from Yale and the National University of Singapore. On the way to the coast, we stopped for breakfast (or second breakfast for some of us) at a great cafe in Braidwood. This is the only photo I have of all of us together:

I love visiting Kioloa because we nearly always have the beach to ourselves. Kioloa is the ANU coastal campus and it's a working farm with conference facilities and cottage accommodation.

Beth on the beach:

Yours truly enjoying the sunshine and warmer than Canberra temperatures:

Another view of the beach - the brave amongst us went in for dip - not me.

When we weren't relaxing, going for walks or enjoying a bonfire, we were eating. Here Barry gets up close and personal with his snapper friend:

It was a really terrific weekend and we all agreed that we should definitely plan more ANUgreen retreats in the near future.
