The adventure in Australia was only supposed to last twelve months. After a year of study as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, I received a Master of Environmental Science from the Australian National University. This led to a year as a research fellow in the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society after which I accepted a position with ANUgreen, the campus environmental management office. Floriade
As today was a public holiday (Labour Day) we had a three day weekend. There were no grand adventures unless you count planting herbs and veggies in our new garden, catching up on laundry or baking lasagna. Today was mini-adventure I suppose, at Floriade, Canberra’s month long festival of the bulbs. The best of the photos follow:
